Looking at Rebecca Leveille's illustrations inspire me to work at a larger scale and to be more ambitious and spend more time on pieces. I much prefer these new vibrant pieces to her older dreamlike work- these bold colours are definitely more me - I love how they grab your attention and are not afraid to clash or stand out. I like the effect of the outline in blue around the pale skin and yellow sofa etc as it ties into the blue 'stringy' background and links these striking colours together in the piece.
